When buying an air gun PLEASE ensure you stay safe and follow all unofficial air gun rules such not waving your air gun out in public.  I know sometimes it gets tempting to show your friends your new air gun but ensure you do it in a safe area.  Many people will see a BB gun and think it's real, even though some Airsoft guns come with an orange tip it can still be confused for a real gun so ensure you stay safe and smart when taking your air gun out for any reason.  Also ensure you only use these air guns in a safe environment, if you are playing airsoft ensure that you wear all the necessary kinds of eye protection.  Airsoft Guns are fun but can also be a little dangerous if not used properly.

Almost perfect compact NBB with moving slide!

TLDR: It's great, double-action, saves CO2. Accurate, fun plinker. I knew what I was buying! It's worth it. I watched a lot of different reviews. Some were from 2009! I hope the build quality has stayed consistent. An Eastern European man gave a 30 minute detailed review. Security officers, who do not have a firearm permit, have used this specific brand to put in their holsters. They abuse them! Leave CO2 tight, through an entire 8+ hour shift. Reviewer helped more people replace the CO2 Twist/Tighten after dropping. Over years he only replaced one CO2 seal! I hope they are still made just as well over 10 years later! I have also seen the safety, start to fail, as you pull the trigger. I've seen the slide move, but not cock the hammer. (In reviews) Mine is solid, It has only one issue. The mag. Release. I don't mind the inaccurate AK-Style knock-forward release. I was breaking it in. Either, on-hand pinky flick, or off-hand, index knuckle-tap and palm catch. It's keyed. Impossible to insert incorrectly without breaking it. The magazine became stuck. I had to field strip it, take off the grip, take out screws in the handle, so it was looser, and physically pull the mag. out... Good thing I knew what I was doing. The metal tab, for the spring on the barrel, was the hardest part to put back. It came well lubed! I have continued to break it in. That was a one time something. The spring on the trigger loop, for field strip is loose and I feel like electro-taping it on. Unless I need to clean it. Your finger or a twig, whatever. Loosens the trigger loop and hinders fire. Maybe I'll take it apart and find that spring. Make it as tight as I can. Fleck of black glossy paint already scratched off, during field strip slide return goofery. Sharpie works! The pictures must be taken in a white room with flash, because the handle is brown. It's quite dark. It doesn't look orange at all. I wish the loop was metal, I would clip that to a holster. It's plastic, faux, never use it. The grip is the worst feeling part. If they used higher quality plastic or a finish, it would feel so much better. I'm gonna do something with mine. Keep the Red Star and texture, but make that ABS plastic feel rougher/heavier. It is front heavy too, If the mag. Had real bullets it wouldn't. I'm used to Double-action. They would have made it semi-auto if they could, right? You need blow-back to cycle part of the internals. I think. I've fired many real arms. This isn't a toy, it isn't for kids. But if I want to go plinking quietly. It's easier to pop this in my backpack with targets and everything instead of a “Red Ryder All-Weather youth” in a rifle case. (It looks like a Black Carbine Repeater. I have a 3-9X40 scope on it. Zeroed @ 70 Yards. "Brandishing a weapon.") Who wants to drive, when you can walk 10 minutes? I'm really pleased. I might buy another. For my brother. If the plastic CO2 twist breaks, I will epoxy a suitable nut onto the bolt. The magazine issue hasn't happened again. Maybe because it was “factory tight.” 4/5 Extra effort to hide/fix the CO2 twist and plastic sliding handle. For 5 stars. (The twist is best completely unscrewed to move the grip. If tightened before closing grip. The grip does not close, because the twist tab is too flush and stops 2mm of movement. I put a tiny bit of white paint on the front iron-sight. That helps! It's really good. I want something similar. The Colt Defender was my other choice. But there's no mags? I have other airguns of course. Airsoft and Airgun. But it's too windy and wet where I live for Airsoft outside! Gotta try the M1911A1 soon. I've never fired a pistol before. I don't have a restricted license. Nor a Long-arm license. But legally with someone who does... .22LR Ruger, .22LR GSG-16, 10G small break, 12G pump, .308... Didn't .223. And have used various other firearms. The Armed Forces let me use their CO2 tube powered C7 training arm. Doesn't get more realistic than that. Buy it, now! Before inflation eats your money. Bill C-21? Uhh... I'm never giving up my Red Ryder! I'll bury that in a water-proof container. It might pass. It might be repealed. It's been year's! Take the chance. You spend the price of the pistol, with a full tank of gasoline. Merry Christmas! Happy day's! Summer in Atlantic Canada finally, in June. After a recent snowfall. Man, CO2 and the temperature. No wonder I use the spring rifle.

Excellent build quality and realism

I’m very impressed with the Blued Makarov CO2 BB Gun. The first thing that stands out is the weight and build quality. It feels solid in the hand and has a very realistic all-metal feel compared to many other CO2 pistols. The blued finish gives it a classic look, and overall it feels more like a collector’s piece than just a basic BB gun. Performance is good for casual target shooting and plinking. The double-action trigger is a bit heavy, but the single-action pull feels much better once the hammer is cocked. It is not a blowback pistol, so it does not have that extra recoil effect, but that also helps keep the design simple and realistic. Accuracy is decent for what it is, and the CO2 system works well. What I like most is the realism. The Makarov design, metal construction, and overall feel make this a great option for anyone who appreciates replica firearms or classic military-style pistols. It may not be the fastest or most powerful BB pistol out there, but the build quality and authenticity make up for it. Pros: Great weight and realistic feel Solid metal construction Classic blued finish Good for collectors and target shooting Single-action trigger feels nice Cons: Double-action trigger is a little heavy No blowback May need some break-in time Overall: I would recommend this to anyone looking for a realistic and well-built Makarov-style CO2 BB pistol. It is especially good if you care more about quality, realism, and collectability than having the highest FPS or blowback action. Rating: 4.5/5

Solid Contender, Interesting Innovations, Close But Not Perfect.

Picked this up as my first Sig Air pistol, my only previous experience with Sig being the MCX Gen 2, so I will be making a few cross-brand comparisons to the other Air Pistols I own. First Impression: Right off the bat, I have to highlight belt fed magazine and trigger pull had a surprisingly good feel compared to my other belt fed pistol. I've always preferred drop-free magazines with the C02 built in for closer realism than the stick magazine + CO2 in grip you find on some, and the way they managed to combine a belt fed stick into the magazine is pretty genius. It is incredibly painless to reload with a simple push button to release the pellet stick-belt and flipping up the back on that giving you access to half the capacity instead of the tedious one by one like other belt fed models. Economy: CO2 is always gonna get spent quicker with GBB, I put through 3x 20 round magazines on my first 12g C02, unfortunately do not have a chronograph set up to document the pressure drop off, but maybe could have pushed a 4th. Build: The field stripping is a nice feature but now we get towards a couple of the things stopping this from being next level, I wish it had a working slide catch, that would have been a nice touch despite not being essential for operation. And perhaps a little more glaring is the glossy polymer frame does look and feel a bit toward the toy aisle end of plastics than others. The texture could prolly use just a touch of sanding with a high grit and it would feel a little better on the skin, I feel this may be a result of the price point this model is aimed at, so could be better, but not deal breaker. Extra Features/Accessories: Another selling point to me was it's RDS capable, another first for the air pistols in my collection, however, I'm also glad to have read the manual about how that plate is mounted to the slide, (screws from the underside of the slide) before attempting to take things apart. I can't give a score on that without trying it, but my criteria would be: what exact what plate/sights it compatible with? AND whether or not that is a proprietary item from Sig. Accuracy: Out of the box I found myself shooting low. I'm not the best shot and it was the first target practice of the year. Excuses aside the groupings looked good, tight enough to have punched a decent hole in the cardstock with just a couple strays. Conclusion: Many things to love about this latest offering from Sig, but certainly not flawless in execution. Very good value for the price point. When I can get my hands on some spare magazines and a RDS I have a feeling it may just become my go-to for day-to-day practice.

Absolutely amazing!

Ok, this revolver is just fantastic! The picture doesn't do it justice. Very heavy, nice smooth action, good accuracy and you can't tell if it is a pellet gun or the real thing. This is a MUST HAVE for any revolver enthusiast. Get it, you know you want it.
