Trigger Mechanics: On the ASG CZ 75D Compact, the single-action trigger pull is notably light, thanks to pre-cocking. In double-action, the pull remains light but briefly becomes firmer just before activation, although this change is subtle.
Shooting Precision: In a 5-shot velocity test, the pistol averaged just over 400 FPS. During a 10-shot accuracy test from 30 feet in a semi-stable stance, the grouping was approximately 2 inches, with some shots veering slightly higher. I encountered a misfeed, resulting in a double shot on the subsequent trigger pull, affecting target precision. A similar double shot issue occurred with the 4.5mm Steel BB version, suggesting it might be characteristic of this model. The pistol generally shot high, but the internal hop-up can be adjusted for elevation.
Construction Quality: ASG's reputation for high-quality firearms is upheld in the CZ 75D Compact. The pistol exhibits excellent fit and finish, with minimal slide movement. While a metal slide would enhance the feel, the gun maintains a satisfactory weight and balance at 4 pounds. Key components like the trigger, hammer, safety, and magazine release are metallic, contributing to its sturdy build.
Authenticity: The ASG CZ 75D Compact closely replicates the real steel version, complete with official CZ trademarks and 9x19 caliber markings. The full-size, metal magazine is well-designed without an obvious CO2 tab or extended section. A metal slide would have been the perfect finishing touch.

Comments:
While I generally prefer blowback models, the ASG CZ 75D Compact's movable slide and minimal wobble impressed me. The air pistol's overall performance is commendable, offering a balanced package of efficient CO2 usage, adequate FPS, precise shooting, versatile trigger options, adjustable sights, an accessory rail, and a substantial magazine. All these features, combined with full CZ licensing, make it a solid choice for an affordable 6mm CO2 airsoft pistol.
