Comments: The Avenger is what you can call the new generations of PCP guns. It comes with an adjustable regulator that can go as high as 3000 PSI according to your need and it also allows you to track your adjustments via its integrated pressure gauge. Never before has this kind of tuning potential been available at such a budget-friendly price! A smooth side lever action allows for quick follow up shots, and the fully shrouded barrel keeps your shooting quiet. You'll also find a Picatinny rail section on the fore-end of the stock for mounting accessories like bipods, lights and lasers, and the unique 11mm dovetail/weaver combo rail on top makes the rifle scope ready as well.

Excellent PCP rifle

I bought this as soon as it was in stock. This replaces my Crosman Nitro Venom .22 that was used for pest control at the barn. The Nitro tuned up to about 650 fps after porting and adjustments, but was not able to cleanly kill pigeons with a single shot, so I needed something more humane. The Avenger is slightly shorter and slightly lighter weight, but does not feel as sturdy as the stock and foreend are plastic clamshells that flex a bit whem handled and just don't feel as solid, but that also results in the weight reduction. With tuning this shoots 1100 fps consistely (I believe the Canadian version has a lightened hammer spring as I'm all the way in on the adjustment range to get this velocity and the US version has much higher reported velocities) and has an absolutely amazing trigger- very crisp with no take up or creep, far better than the Crosman even after customizations and adjustment. Noise-wise, it is about the same as the Crosman, but a different quality: more of a snap vs the thud of the nitrogen piston. What don't I like: the split scope rail is horrible. It needs the split to accommodate the rotary magazine, but the slots are not all evenly spaced (the last slot of the front and rear halves both have nonstandard cuts). My low profile cantilever scope mount is too low to allow the magazine to fit and the spacing of standard rings on my scope is interfered with by the nonstandard cut of the rails
