Type:BB Pistol. Manufacturer: Sig Sauer. Model:1911 Emperor Scorpion. Materials: Mostly all metal build. Weight: 2.1 pounds (953 Grams). Barrel: 4.3 inches (109.2mm) - Non-rifled. Propulsion:12 gram CO2. Action: Blowback single action only. Ammunition Type:4.5mm steel BB's. Ammunition Capacity: 16 round full size drop out metal magazine. FPS: 300+.
Trigger Pull: The Single action only trigger pull on the Sig Sauer 1911 Emperor Scorpion Blowback CO2 BB Pistol is typical of what you will find on a KWC Blowback 1911, and that’s a good thing since it is short light and crisp similar to a real 1911 semi auto pistol.
Accuracy: A velocity test Sig says you can expect around 300 fps. We have been able to get an average 286 fps using a brand new CO2 in what we would consider to be about a room temperature which means in warmer conditions we are sure we can get the claimed 300 fps made by Sig Sauer.
Build Quality: The Sig Sauer 1911 Emperor Scorpion Blowback CO2 BB Pistol is same as with all Airguns the metals used are not firearms grade quality so you do need to be a bit more careful with them so as you will get years of use out of them.
Realism: The Sig Sauer 1911 Emperor Scorpion Blowback CO2 BB Pistol is a licensed replica of the real steel Sig Sauer 1911 Emperor Scorpion 45 ACP and from looking at photos on line or the Sig Sauer 45 APC version it is virtually identical in a appearance other than the hammer which on the 45 ACP version seems to have a larger and more oval skeletonized opening. That’s pretty minor in the scheme of things. As this is a full blowback Air Pistol, the mechanical functions mimic the real steal version very well and as expected you can even fully field strip this BB Pistol.
Pros:
Based on the tried and true KWC 1911. Most parts should be mix and match.
Full blowback operation.
Excellent SAO 1911 trigger as expected.
Full metal construction, has great realistic weight to it.
Easy to see white dot sights front and back.
Tactical with ambidextrous safety controls.
Rail for adding on accessories like a laser or Tac light.
Nice reassessed barrel ads to the realism.
Love the two tone color scheme.
Full Sig Sauer licensing.
Looks virtually identical to the real steel Sig Sauer 1911 Emperor Scorpion.
Cons:
Will go through CO2 fairly quickly.
Lower fps because of full blowback operation.
Sights are none adjustable.
Comments: Every time a new Blowback 1911 Airgun comes out we seem to say this one is our new favorite and well here we go again… Not only do we like 1911’s we also really like Sigs. We also seem to be a fan of town tone guns as it makes the parts on the gun really stand out in contrast to each other and we like that look. So when you put all of these things together it makes for a real winner in our books. With so many Blowback 1911 choices out there it is hard to make up ones mind, we would consider the Sig Sauer 1911 Emperor Scorpion Blowback CO2 BB Pistol to be in the top 3 for sure!
Has a very great feel, build quality and the blowback is excellent. Definitely has a punch to it and the slide sounds very satisfying when moving . I'd say this is the best 1911 to get

Scorpion has a sting
Bought it with spare 27 round magazine. Make sure the magazine is all the way home though! Very nice air gun, lots of blowback. Punches nice sized holes in pop cans from 40ft. away.
Very smart looking gun, fits nicely in my drop leg holster,
Very good value for the price.

This is another fantastic 1911 BB replica!
I noticed there wasn't much information regarding this 1911 BB pistol as it is quite new and very new to this shop to my knowledge. I love 1911s and when I saw it appear in the store, I knew I had to try it out. It's important to know that other 1911 magazines actually do fit in this Emperor Scorpion so even though buying extra mags with the butt-plate isn't available currently, you can still have extra firepower.
Review: To start, I'm a big fan of 1911s in general and love being able to plink in my backyard with a strong kicking blowback gun instead of going to a range every time I want to squeeze off a few shots. Being fully field strip-able is very important to me as a consistent purchaser of replica air guns due to the fact that I can easily clean and troubleshoot any problems if there are any and this gun fieldstrips easily just like the real Sig Sauer Emperor Scorpion. Amazing.
On top of fieldstripping excellently as we've come to love with tons of the 1911s here, this gun absolutely has full blowback and it is a very strong blowback at that, not even comparable to Sigs previous Spartan 1911. Even the blowback spring is slightly longer than others like the Colt Commander and Springfield 1911s I own and I swear you feel it. It's a great training pistol because the blowback disturbs the sights enough that you're able to practice quickly snapping back on target. I forgot to mention briefly, but this pistol certainly feels heavier than the other 1911s I have purchased. This gun is a bit more squared off and less rounded than a classic 1911. Not quite Glock square, but it's got some cool machining done versus a standard 1911. Example being the Tanfoglio Witness that is popular, it's very rounded and a classic Mil-Spec pistol. They're slightly different and that's a great thing because it changes the weight and feel of each gun by quite a bit.
It took a couple days to break in fully but once you lubricate it properly, racking the slide feels very smooth and the gun runs perfectly. Always use Pellgun Oil on your Co2 tanks every 2nd tank and use Silicone oil/Airgun lubricant to keep everything clean and prevent your gun from running into problems or mag leaks! The one "problem" I've had with it is if you're not properly gripping your 1911 by using your thumb to ride the safety, it can flick up a tiny bit due to the blowback and completely lock the trigger. If anything, it's good practice for a proper hold and I partially believe it's still the break-in period as it's happening less often and becoming less stiff, then I proceed to correct my hold and continue. It also has a flat mainspring housing (very comfortable) with extra grips on the front with their G10 palm grips. The grip safety is of course functional but has an included "bump" or "notch" to feel exactly where it is to make sure your grip is proper and you're depressing it correctly. Most new generation 1911s have this notch nowadays and is preferred by many.
The warnings on a nice replica can often take away from the realism and ultimately the fun you're trying to have while plinking cans or what-have-you in the yard or garage but with this Emperor Scorpion, the warnings are stealthily concealed underneath the gun where the 1913 rail is, I've even used Birchwood Casey perma gun bluing to make that even harder to see. In reality, you don't need any product to remove any warnings because they hid them so well. You'd have to be looking for it to find those pesky white warning labels and having an attachment completely covers up the very small text. You won't see it while firing and it will not take away from the emersion of shooting a replica firearm, in my opinion! Kudos to Sig Sauer for managing that, I hate large warning labels that I'm unable to blue out completely. Umarex guns (like the Colt Commander) seem to have this problem frequently, though they are often quality so pick and choose what you like :)
The colours in the photo don't give this gun any justice, I honestly was worried that it was gonna be a standard, ugly brown colour vs the beautiful Cerakoted FDE (Flat Dark Earth) of the real firearm but when I got it in person, it really had the same colour as any Emperor Scorpion 1911s. I don't know what kind of paint job they did on the BB version but I can say certainly that the FDE colour is present and looks stunning in the light, I was elated to say the least. It really has a nice shine on it in person and looks very reminiscent of the FN-Scar but you'd have to be holding it to fully enjoy the colour. For anyone confused or wondering about mixing and matching parts, you can literally attach a Springfield Armory slide onto this gun if you're so inclined. That's how weird you can get without problems, not that I suggest doing that haha
I'd also like to add that regular 1911 magazines 100% DO FIT in this gun but this 1911 has a flared Hogue-style mag-well which means you have to make sure the standard KWC mag clicks in fully but it works without any issues! Other 1911 parts are also interchangeable, I added a valve to increase FPS in the magazine, changed the outer barrel to silver instead of black, and the barrel bushing to silver just for my own preference! The only thing I haven't done yet is get a laser or flashlight attachment for this awesome 1913 lower rail. Essentially, you can mix and match most of the 1911 parts on this gun with most other fully field strip-able 1911s.
I've been using the magazine it came with along with the regular KWC extra magazines that are sold here. It's important to lubricate the gun properly for optimal performance but once you've used it consistently for a few days, you'll notice any problems (maybe the slide locked back when there were some BBs still inside the mag, this problem fixes itself and happens rarely to begin with) starting to disappear or disappear completely. If you look online, you'll see some places saying it holds 16 shots (even the box says this!) but it truly holds 18+1 if you decide to load your gun, rack the slide, and load another BB. Otherwise the magazine naturally holds a total of 18 just like any other full size drop out magazine. I use 4.5mm copperhead Crosman BBs, I counted 1 by 1 for the sake of this review and to be accurate. If the magazine base pad becomes loose, simply screw it back in, no problem! The stated FPS could be higher (apparently only about 300 FPS w/o mods out of the box) but for plinking - this is plenty more than plenty. Since I have added increased gas flow and FPS, my Emperor Scorpion is shooting with a lot of power judging by the marks in the steel, wood, and other targets I've set up. It's hitting steel targets extremely hard at distances of about 20 and 40 feet, once I went back to 64 feet the damage was less intense but that's to be expected at such a range with a BB pistol. It was still accurately hitting where I shot even if I was a bit far away.
For the price that Replica Airguns are asking, this is an awesome BB pistol that I'm happy to be able to purchase and I'm very excited to own another 1911, let alone this Emperor Scorpion that I've slightly customized to my own style. It's a great 1911 and if it was available earlier, I probably would have gotten it sooner! I love it, the ambidextrous safety is the cherry on top but I'm a right handed shooter. My friend however, really enjoys the ambi safety due to being left handed, obviously. It's overall a great gun and I don't have many complaints that have held up thus far.
** I highly recommend this 1911 for anyone that enjoys fully fieldstrip-able 1911s with a strong kick, nice look and appeal, and a gun that is easy to get parts for (springs, slide catch, etc) among other pros it has. I feel like I've touched upon most things regarding this specific 1911. Being that I'm just an average Joe that's passionate about shooting, there weren't many written reviews so I thought I'd try my hand at explaining this pistol to anyone that might think it's as awesome as I do. I enjoy table top reviews and field reviews like Replica Airguns puts up. I believe the person in those videos name is Mike or something but he's very likeable and I love watching his reviews to find out what my next potential purchase may be! I hope my long review was able to help anyone looking to buy this gun, I've tested it for a number of days, about a week now and think it's a worthwhile purchase by far.
