Type: BB Pistol Manufacturer: Gletcher Model: M712 Materials: full metal construction Weight: 3 pounds Barrel: 5 inches Propulsion: 12 gram CO2 cartridge Action: single-action, blowback, full auto Ammunition Type: 4.5mm Steel BBs Ammunition Capacity: 18 rounds FPS: 361 fps
Comments: The Gletcher M712 implements the main highlights of the authentic 1932 model, including full auto mode, which is rather rare in air guns. The M712 also preserves the historic characteristics of the original thanks to a breech mechanism that moves when firing and a Blowback system.
My M712 came for the weekend..Yay! It was marked as KMC which wasa plus..no white silk screening. My outer barrel was loose so I removed the set screw (E09) and outer barrel, applied Silicon grease to the nylon bushing at the front of the barrel tostabilize it, installed outer barrel and used removal tread-lock on the factoryset screw and installed a second set screw using 262 blue tread-lock.(this was optional but I had one so why not). Barrel is stone tight and will notmove. So this is what you get.Accuracy, nail driving at 20 feet in semi mode, 3 to 4 inch bulls eyeswith all 18 shots in full auto.My C-rony read 358 feet per second usingTactical Crusader, Crosman and Daisy C02 bulbs.54-60 shots per C02.I put 25 C02 bulbs through it which equaled 1500 shotsand 3 mags with full auto.( Not one jam).Loading is fast and easy if you load in front of the BB followerinstead of the top of the mag.( pull follower all the way down holdwith finger nail and load in front of it).Would I recommend this gun? Yes, Trust me once you look afterthe barrel screw you will not be able to put this gun down.
