Trigger Pull: The trigger pull is excellent in both single and double action. The double action pull is slightly longer and heavier than the single action, but still not heavy. Single action is short, light, and crisp, just like a real Beretta 92-style pistol.
Accuracy: I haven't completed the Field Test Shooting video review for the M9A1 pistol yet, but in a short preview video, I was able to accurately hit clay pigeons from about 20 feet away. Even without practice, I consistently hit the center of the targets. The FPS is expected to be over 360 with CO2 magazines using .20g airsoft BBs. The blowback is strong and the slide cycles fully. Stay tuned for the upcoming Field Test Shooting Video for both pistols.
Build Quality: The build quality is excellent, as with all KJ Works airsoft guns I've tested. The fit and finish are top-notch, with minimal wear on painted areas, even with regular use. The tight tolerances between moving parts like the slide and frame demonstrate KJ Works' excellent craftsmanship and machining.
Realism: The KJ Works M9 & M9A1 are accurate replicas of the real steel Beretta M9 & M9A1. It's difficult to distinguish them from the real versions. The M9A1 has some minor cosmetic differences from the M9, such as a tactical rail on the frame. Both models can be field-stripped like a real Beretta M9 pistol, and all parts function similarly.
Pros:
All-metal construction with good weight.
Full heavy blowback operation.
Exceptional fit and finish.
High-capacity, full-size drop-out magazine that holds both airsoft BBs and CO2 (green gas mags also compatible).
Highly accurate and well-centered shots.
White dot sights for easy aiming.
Ambidextrous safeties.
Field strippable like the real steel versions.
Cons:
Sights are non-adjustable, but elevation can be adjusted using the hop-up.
Grips may be wide for those with smaller hands.
CO2 magazines protrude slightly.
Comments:
These full metal M9 & M9A1 replicas are another example of KJ Works' excellent full blowback airsoft pistols. They are built to very high standards, closely replicate the real steel Beretta M9 & M9A1, and offer outstanding performance. Although slightly pricier than similar airsoft guns from KWC, the quality from KJ Works justifies the extra cost.
