Trigger Pull: Not what you would expect from a real steel 1911, since the KWC M1911 Pellet Pistol is a double action only shooter, compared to a single action only trigger on an actual 1911. That said, it works fairly well as long as you make sure to fully release it after each shot. Short releases may result in the hammer not going back all the way. As with most double action triggers, it is long and heavy but not unusable, just be prepared to get a little bit of a finger workout.

Build Quality: Built just like all other KWC airguns. It’s not going to be the best quality you have ever seen, but it is very good. KWC has been making airguns for a while, not just for themselves but for other companies like Umarex, Gletcher, ASG, Crosman, and even Sig Sauer. You will find metal on this gun where it matters. The slide, full size drop out metal magazine, and lots of internal parts. The frame, trigger, fake hammer, magazine release, and slide catch are all plastic. Fit and finish is good overall.

Realism: The KWC M1911 Pellet Pistol really does look and feel like a real steel 1911 A1 pistol with the exception of the trigger. Everything is really believable, even though not all parts work like the slide, slide catch release, and fake hammer. On a real 1911 A1, the frame would also be metal, adding to the overall weight but the KWC M1911 Pellet Pistol comes in at 2.2 pounds so it’s no lightweight. With the metal magazine in the gun it has good balance to it.

Pros:

  • Full metal slide and mag gives pistol good weight
  • Realistic-looking replica pistol of the 1911 A1
  • Fixed non-blowback slide maximizes CO2 efficiency
  • Diamond textured grip panels and backstrap prevent slipping
  • Drop free mag has two 6 round rotary mags for a total of 12 rounds
  • Rifled barrel will help with accuracy
  • One of the few CO2 1911 pellet pistols out there

Cons:

  • Heavy double-action trigger can be tiring during frequent shooting
  • Non-adjustable fixed front and rear sights
  • Hammer moves but does not cock so no single action shooting

Comments: I’m a bit on the fence with the KWC M1911 NBB CO2 Pellet Pistol. It looks really good and has a lot of potential in terms of power and accuracy over the Cybergun/KWC Blowback BB version which has always been a favorite of mine. This KWC M1911 replica airgun is a cost-efficient choice for shooters wanting a 1911-styled pellet pistol. Able to fire 0.177 cal pellets, the M1911 is powered by CO2 and features a fixed metal slide so you can get the most out of your cartridge without having to change as often. The drop free full metal magazine holds a total of 12 rounds with its rotating dual-sided 6 round rotary pellet mags.

1911 Fan

1911 pellet repeaters are limited choices. This one is nice almost all metal with good weight. Magazine system is great. Trigger pull is atrocious and throws the aim off. No blowback. Some controls are fake. I love my Tanfoglio but BBs don't shoot straight.

KWC NBB air pistol

Good accuracy Uses less co2 Don’t like how the body is plastic though Not as realistic as the colt blow back pellet pistols Still a great accurate airgun for training

GWS H.V. pellets not compatible

The hyper velocity GWS pellets do not fit inside of this mag. I would take them down as an option for ammunition for this gun. Other than that, looks good, feels good and I can't wait until I get proper pellets so I can shoot this thing.
