Barrel: 132.08 mm (5.2 in), non-rifled
Power Source:12 g CO2 x 1

Ammo Capacity: 15 rounds
FPS: 417

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KWC G1911 Fixed Slide CO2 Airsoft Gun was about medium to hard but I have definitely experienced heavier trigger pulls on many double-action only airguns. It is nice that the trigger has the look of a 1911 and not your typical lever-styled trigger. I did find the trigger to be very usable and the release point is smooth and fairly predictable.

Accuracy: I have yet to perform my field test shooting component for the KWC Model 1911 All Metal Non-Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol, however I have reviewed the same gun in 4.5mm Steel BB version and here is what I had to say about that the Steel BB version: "Accuracy was decent but not outstanding, I got around a 2.5 inch grouping from a 20 foot away free standing position, shooting just to the left and high on the target. I did find that I was able to zone in a bit better with the GSR 1911 as I got used to the trigger. I also put the Sig Sauer GSR through my Chrony Chronograph and got very close the manufacturers 397 claimed feet per second, actually starting off well above it and settling down to around the 370 FPS mark. My 8 shot average on a new CO2 was actually 422 FPS.

Build Quality: Very good, this is an almost all metal airsoft gun with a few exceptions like the hammer, trigger, magazine release, slide catch, and grip safety. Everything else is metal including the slide, frame, magazine, and even the grips. The finish is very good and since there is lots of metal with minimal moving parts and less to go wrong, this should make for a very reliable pistol.

Realism: This pistol is very close to the look, weight, and feel of the real steel Sig-Arms 1911 GSR! Even the 1911-style trigger was replicated as best as it could be given it being double-action only. It would have been nice to have a single-action trigger and a working slide to finish off the illusion but overall, the GSR is a really nice copy.

Pros:

  • Excellent weight and very solid feeling gun
  • Mostly metal design
  • All metal magazine holds CO2 and airsoft BBs
  • Accurate Sig-Arms Sig Sauer 1911 GSR Replica
  • Should have good FPS and lots of shots per CO2 based on my 4.5mm BB version testing
  • Rail for mounting accessories
  • Front and back sights with white dots
  • Recessed barrel for added realism
  • True 1911 style trigger even though it is double action only
  • Very affordable price tag

Cons:

  • Non-blowback and the slide does not move either.
  • Hammer is only for show and does not cock for single-action shots
  • Trigger action is bit heavy but not too bad for a double-action trigger
  • Non-adjustable rear sights

Comments: For a relatively inexpensive full metal airsoft gun you get a lot for your money with the KWC Model 1911. Most importantly, it's a very accurate reproduction of the real steel Sig-Arms Sig Sauer 1911 GSR firearm! If you're a 1911 fan and want to pick up an airsoft gun that won't set you back too much, then the KWC Model 1911 would make a great choice with its heavy full metal weight, full size drop-out metal magazine, accurate reproduction of the real steal Sig-Arms GSR and that very affordable price tag.

Low cost gun - Well worth it!

This gun is very realistic to a real 1911, however it shoots bb's! This gun has been well worth it; only buying it for less than $120. If you are looking for a gun that is durable, accurate, and all at a low cost I encourage you to buy this gun!

very Impressed

First off, this gun is NOT built for kids. It's pretty heavy and would be difficult for them to shoot it one handed. The grip is also fairly large. if you have small hands it would be a little difficult to reach the mag release. But, it's very comfortable, solid, and loud. For a co2 pistol, it's on the louder side. the accuracy was good. Since a pistol is usually a secondary weapon, it's more than enough. what really impressed me was, the co2. it shot 9 mags before it ran out. Now, that number might go down with more use, but I thought that was very good. Overall, I would definitely buy again.

Great Starter Pistol

from 20 feet away, shooting 15 shots into a target with no wind (shot inside) the groupings were great, within 2cm of each other. Largest distance in grouping was 6cm (2.5 inches)... was shot on fairly new co2. probably 75% full. Great gun. Has fixed slide, but for the price, that is expected. trigger feels good. Also has very realistic look and weight to it. Can't go wrong with this purchase. This pistol does break skin at close range. At 1.6 joules, (about 420 fps)

this gun is a real power house on the field it is a nice heavy weight pistol with great co2 consumption and a nice feel to it while the accuracy is not the best it still hits central mass at 25 feet easy mags where a pain in the ass to find though

Good looks ,but not a good shooter

This gun has really good looks and presentation, but the pluses end there . The gun was extremely heavy in weight and trigger pull. Not at all comfortable to shoot. After shooting a couple of clips ,I noticed the power dropping and noticed the trigger spring tension wasn t hitting the Co2 valve as hard. This never improved and accuracy was dismal at best .Not an expensive gun , but not worth the money
