Trigger Pull: Really nice. It is single-action only since it requires racking the slide to chamber the first round. The take-up is slight with a crisp light release. The trigger is definitely not going to get in the way of the accuracy of this pistol.

Accuracy: I found the pistol shot low at 30 feet, about 4 inches low. There is a preset built-in hop-up system that gives the BB backspin. The backspin will give the BB a bit of lift as it travels, so at longer ranges the BB may make up some of the distance. There were a few stragglers that shot a bit low, making the grouping just over 2 inches. There was a clearly defined tighter sub group that was about 1.75 inches in diameter. Overall, shot placement was low but pretty good side to side.

Build Quality: Excellent. The pistol is well built like the other full blowback KWC BB and airsoft pistols I have reviewed and shot in the past. The fit and finish is very good but I expect the electromagnetic black coating to wear off in the high spots fairly quickly. This does give the slight worn-in real gun look, however. In terms of quality, KWC may have even beefed up some of the areas prone to breakage like the trigger guard since this pistol is made out of Zink-based metals rather than the hardened steel in the real firearm.

Realism: I have to say the KWC Makarov PM CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is a really nice replica overall. It is perhaps one of the best considering it has full cycle blowback with an all metal full sized drop out magazine. A couple of drawbacks with the pistol that are different from the real steel Makarov PM are the thicker trigger guard and butt plate.

Trigger guard looks to be thicker than on actual gun

Comments: The Makarov is one of my favorite pistols, a true classic! So the fact that there is yet another Makarov air pistol on the market is fine with me. This particular one might just be the best all-around Makarov airgun that hits all the spots us Replica Airgun enthusiasts love—like full blowback operation, a nice light single-action trigger, a full size metal magazine that holds the ammo and the CO2 and an all metal build with all those working bits and pieces like you would find on the real steel Makarov PM. I would have to say the KWC Makarov PM CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is one of my favourite overall Makarov airgun replicas since it pretty much has everything going for it.

Best air gun I’ve ever owned

The gun is so easy to feild strip and the entire thing just feels so durable, even when the mag slides up it has a heavy clunk! Everything about this gun is great! Definitely recommend buying

This is super f***ing awesome

I was looking for a gift for my boyfriend, and holy macaroni was this awesome. It's super realistic, it has a nice weight, the blow back makes it sound realistic. THE BULLETS SOUND AWESOME TO FIRE. The bullets, however are *NOT* a toy. This gun shots hard. It shot through the cardboard box it came in, made a huge dent in my hard wood floor, then shit through another box behind it. It's my favorite dent now though, totally worth it.

Great Gun & Amazing Fun

I chose this gun over the Umerex version based on Paul's comments. It's a great gun. Very realistic and quite powerful. I've compared it to the non-blowback pistols (400+ fps) and the KWC is not bad. The blowback and the full magazine (co2 + BB's) adds to the realism. I was actually thinking of the Umerex Walther PPK when I bought the KWC Mak. It was the PPK's puny stick mag that turned me off. The only issue with the KWC Mak is that the magazine is not spring loaded and is difficult to eject. But really great gun for the price. Getting the actual Baikal Mak would be icing on the cake. But the KWC is a great substitute.

Amazing replica

So I just got my makarov and was amazed when I picked it up, it feels natural in your hand and the metal body and slide feels so real it disassembles like a real makarov and looks just as cool. My first shots were very accurate but the magazine capacity was a little annoying because of the fact that the magazine release is VERY stiff and a bit difficult to get a grip on, the same goes with the loading spring in the magazine its really tough to load especially in the cold and when pulling it down it ripped my nails to shreds after time those are the only two bad parts about this gun but if you were gloves or something while shooting this gun or even just over time you will get used to it. Overall this gun is amazing and if you are a fan of makarov pistols you will love this gun.

Great gun, well build accurate and fun to shoot

Pros:1- it's the most ergonomic Makarov I have ever hold, probably because it isn't 100 scale (the grips are actually 1/4'' or so longer than the real makarov, so more room for the hand, more comfortable.2- 80 good shots per co23- like the Tanfoglio Witness, the blowback stay constant and powerful until the last 10 shots that drop and stop working (80-90shots rank)4- Recoil spring is kind of TFW with crisp feel when pushing down the slide lock, Schlack sound, not like the Ultra.5- It as approx, 90 -95% of the recoil strength of the TFW, that is pretty good.6- Works flawlessly until the last round, lock back every time on the last round.7- it is verry verry accurate for a such short barrel, I did my test at 16 feet 1.125'' group8- Absolutely NO flyers at all when shooting, always group in the same area (+/- 1-1/8'') Sight picture is dead center when aligned both rear and front sight, top of the sight pictures should be positionned in the center of the target that is good, so no need to compensate to the top or to the bottom or left and right.9- feel solid when inserting the mag10-Mag is good weight and all metal11-Legendary efficient piercing KWC mechanism with halen wrench, make a 1/8'' hole in the co2 bottle!!12- NO FREEPLAY AT ALL, ALL FITS VERRY TIGHT, 13- No ugly white markings on the slide14- Verry verry light trigger pull, comparable to the TFWCons:1- not 100% scale (grips are longer than the real one), single action only (the real one is both double and single)2- trigger guard is thicker in the front area, so not like the real one3- Ugly longer plate in the bottom of the mag (cannot be modified until you grind it, the mag is all molded in one piece)4- Grips are a bit thicker when looked from behind, maybe 1/16'' each side.5- Outer barrel is a plastic sleeve over the inner barrel. Overall rating I would rate 8/10, so far so good! verry pleased with it, fun to shoot, looks great, great blowback, dismount easily. lower frame and slide are solid and well manufactured.
