The S&W 4 inch barrel arrived in a timely manner. It was packaged well and the was spotless and nicely finished as expected from S&W. The package contained the cowel and the barrel and a small tool to assist in installation and one front sight. Removal of the 6 inch barrel and installation of the new 4 inch barrel took about 5 minutes. After cleaning the inside of the barrel (it was very clean as received) I shot 20 pellets. Results were close but not as close as the 6 inch barrel and I expected as much. After another 60 pellets on a new CO2 tube I replaced the original 6 inch barrel. For me, 4 inch and 2 2/2 inch barrels are for fun with pop cans. 6 inch and 8 inch barrels are for target shooting.
