Trigger Pull: Like other KWC-made 1911s, it's exactly what you would expect from a real steel 1911 single action only pistol. It helps to make this replica 1911 a great trainer or show piece. The trigger pull is super short, super light, with very little take-up and a nice crisp break.

Build Quality: Very good, with almost all metal construction, good weight, and craftsmanship. The KWC 1911 line of pistols have proven themselves over time. That said, they will not last forever since these are not expensive guns made out of high quality metals. You will find most of these KWC pistols have a thin coating for a finish, so they tend to wear on the high spots. However, over time this has been improving with KWC airguns.

Realism: This is as close as you can come to the look, weight, feel, and action of the real 1911 in virtually every way including the ability to field strip this pistol exactly the same! All the mechanical parts work just like they do on a real steel 1911, including the grip safety. On top of it all, Air Venturi has licensed the Springfield Armory 1911 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol with realistic Springfield branding throughout the airgun.

Pros:

  • Full metal construction gives gun solid weight and feel
  • Blowback action slide creates a realistic shooting experience
  • Officially licensed by Springfield Armory with authentic markings
  • True 1911 single action trigger with very smooth and light pull
  • Drop free metal mag houses 18 BB rounds and CO2 cartridge
  • Faux wood grips are checkered for a firm hold
  • Functioning thumb and grip safety
  • Can mix and match with other KWC 1911 parts

Cons:

  • Fixed 3-dot sights cannot be adjusted
  • FPS and shots per CO2 are sacrificed due to heavy blowback but worth it!

Comments: I never really get tired of making reviews for the KWC 1911 line of CO2 blowback Aarguns. Sure, they are all made from the same 1911 base but each one has its own unique look and customization. I really like the faux plastic wood grips with the deep Springfield Armory licensing on this version. The matte black slide and frame with the chrome barrel and silver barrel bushing look really sharp on this 1911 BB gun. Even though the Air Venturi Springfield Armory 1911 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is basically a standard 1911 A1, the added touch of the white dot sights will help when shooting at whatever target you point it at.

1911

Good weight, great slide return and heavy blowback along with the licensing and grips make it one of my favourites in my collection. Usually set my targets at 40 Feet or better and this gun doesn't let me down. Definitely a 5 out of 5

Own an homage to a piece of history

If you have an interest in wartime pistols, the 1911 is a gem. This is a beast with sights zeroed on bullseyes at up to 20 meters. Very happy with the quality of build and smoothe action.

ULTRA realistic feel, but accuracy is fair

This is my 5th Gun purchase from REPLICA AIR GUNS, in three months, Thumbs up! If you are looking for an almost 99% perfect replica of the "REAL" Springfield 1911 firearm, then this is it! Just google image search the real one to compare, I did and spend many hours doing so. The only cosmetic difference, is the groove grips on the pull back slide are Vertical, whereas on the "real" gun they are angled, and the ejection port on the "REAL" gun is larger revealing more of the silver barrel. Yes the grips are plastic, but from a cosmetic point of view, you can't tell unless you look and pick it up. The metal slide has letters electro etched in, that are not as deep as the real gun. The sound and feel of the FULL blow back are ULTRA realistic, and feel just like the real gun. This Pistol gets a 10/10 for realism, on feel, blow-back, slide back sound, "slick-shloc" when you cock it, ACCURACY: there really is none, this gun shoots about 3 to 4 inches too high at 25 - 30 feet on paper targets. If you compensate, then you are ok for plinking cans etc. All in all a nice realistic airgun

Great Replica Gun

My first gun, I like it, Co2 is easy to load, seal is good, get about 60-65 shots per, loading BB's is simple but a pain at the same time looking into a speed loader, overall the quality seems good, weight feels about right, seems like the slide could be a bit tighter, but also I've never owned a gun so I'm not sure about that, the finish is good, disassembly and reassembly is a cool feature, very satisfied looking into my next purchase

KWC 1911

Very smooth action well put together. I have fire the real 45 cap and this gun is very close to the real thing. I have a Umarex Beretta that does not come close to the smoothness and quality of the KWC 1911. Thanks Dave
