Great long barrel XD. Fit and finish is excellent. Heavy gun with almost no rattle but the mag base plate. Real ambi everything but going to have research takedown because only the lever moves so far. I wanted a single action like my 1911 A1 but have to ride the take up by a half inch or so to allow breach loading then pull. Close enough but nothing beats a 1911. Decent accuracy for one outing and break in. Service from Replica Airguns is amazing as always and a shout out to Leo for his excellent work on the phone. Company's well represented.

Not what I expected.
If anyone is thinking about purchasing this item based on the excellence of the Springfield XDM, think again. Aside from the obvious differences between the two there is also a difference in authenticity between the two. If you think “functional takedown lever” means the XDE field strips, you would be wrong. It simply means the lever moves. This is not a full blowback pistol, it is only partial. Springfield may have solved the trigger bar and magazine issues that existed with the XDM with the XDE but the two pistols are not close when it comes to a realistic replica. The trigger is a joke. I am extremely disappointed with the XDE and given a second chance would not waste my money on the Springfield Armoury XDE.
