Trigger Characteristics: The trigger pull on the ASG Steyr M9-A1 falls within the standard range for double-action triggers, being moderately weighted. Like its real counterpart, this model also features a DOA (double-action only) mechanism, utilizing a hammerless, striker-fired trigger system.

Shooting Performance: Firing the ASG Steyr M9-A1 air pistol at a target 20 feet away, it showed respectable accuracy, achieving a grouping of approximately 2.5 inches, slightly above and to the left of the target center. Due to the fixed rear sight, some aiming adjustments might be necessary. Chrony tests over eight shots showed a consistent velocity of 425 FPS, aligning with the manufacturer's claims.

Construction Quality: ASG consistently impresses with its firearm quality, and the Steyr M9-A1 is no different. While it may lack complexity and an abundance of metal components, it compensates with style and functionality. The plastic and polymer elements are well-constructed, and the airgun feels appropriately weighted for a predominantly plastic build. The fit and finish are commendable.

Replica Authenticity: The ASG Steyr M9-A1 airsoft pistol closely mirrors the actual 9mm ASG Steyr M9-A1. The most noticeable difference is in the safety feature, where the realistic-looking molded safety contrasts with a slightly different, functional safety. Besides this, the airsoft pistol, complete with official Steyr licensing and trademarks, is a convincing replica of the original.

Comments:

The ASG Steyr M9-A1 airsoft gun excels as a BB shooter, offering high FPS and numerous shots per CO2 cartridge. Its resemblance to the actual Steyr M9-A1 adds to its appeal, along with its affordability. While features like blowback action and metal components do raise costs, this airsoft pistol provides a budget-friendly option for those seeking a stylish, efficient airsoft gun. The ASG Steyr M9-A1 is an excellent choice for anyone in search of a high-quality airsoft pistol that delivers numerous satisfactory shots.

It's a fantastic pistol

So I ordered this pistol two days ago and let me tell you it's a really nice pistol. It has a really nice weight to it, it's sights are really nice they have two green dots in the back and white dot one the front, I havent fired it yet but when I do I'll leave an accuracy rating on the review. It's trigger pull is a little heavy but I personally like it, it's not too heavy and it's not too light. Two things that I wish this airsoft gun had is blowback and a working slide, all in all though it's a really nice gun.

Great gun with an awful trigger.

Out of the box, I was impressed with the fit and finish of the gun, despite its low price. The ergos were good, it was satisfyingly heavy, and it felt like quality. I regret to inform you, however, that the trigger on this gun is the most unpleasant, creepy, stiff, sticky, gravelly atrocity I have ever laid a finger on. It's design is such that if you pull with the pad of your finger, you'll be sore after two shots, and if you pull with the joint, you'll cut yourself in two places. I wish I could like this replica, but I sadly can't abide that trigger, so if you're on the market for a cheap NBB, go for the Jericho 941 instead. So much better.
