The Umarex AirSaber zips arrows with no strings attached! The AirSaber air archery rifle uses high-pressure air to propel a 350-grain arrow at velocities up to 480 feet per second with a fully charged air tank. Arrows shot from a full tank reach energy levels up to 178 ft lbs. This is more than enough for hunting big game and is, in fact, legal in 10 states for deer and most states allow for predator/feral species hunting with devices of this kind. The AirSaber uses a special carbon-fiber arrow that weighs 250 grains by itself. These arrows accept standard and mechanical broadheads and are easily changed out. Shooters can expect to get 25 shots at big game lethal energy on one fill or 30 shots of predator lethal energy. The tank pressurizes at 3,625 PSI and the AirSaber comes with a Foster fitting fill probe for easy fills with an HPA compressor, hand-pump, or SCBA tank. The AirSaber is accurate out to 70 yards and beyond with the included Axeon Optics Air Archery Scope. It has four horizontal reticles configured for shooting the Air Saber with a full tank of air. Unlike other arrow shooting rifles this air rifle has sleek form and a price that's hard to beat.
So,
I put 1,000 PSI (Max recommended pump pressure is 3,650PSI with the PCP pump) into the Air Saber & kinda sighted it in @ 25' in the garage/laundry room.
I can't believe the accuracy of this thing!
Less than 1/2" groupings (mind, you, only 25' away)
{I'd submit a pic of the targets, but not available tp post here}
After a dozen or so shots, air pressure only dropped ~100PSI
The Air Javelin is much noisier - using 12gram "el cheapo" cylinders with an adapter.
Get 5 good shots per $1.00 12 gram cylinder.
The 88 gram cylinder$ are ~25 shots per ~$22 cylinder..but more powerful,.so..
Accuracy is OK on the Javelin,.neither here nor there, as I'm just using "open" stock plastic sights, ..so far.
Made the target box with compressed, used, leftover "saran wrap" AKA: used pallet wrap from grocery stores..
It works really well!
Never penetrated more than 6-8" (again, well packed wrap, in a cardboard box)

Great product but poor customer service
I purchased this product several months ago and it has worked great. However, a few days ago I noticed that the screw that holds the barrel to the air tank had fallen out and is now missing. I contacted Umarex to request a new screw and they informed me that they cannot send replacement parts to Canada. I assume that this pertains to all Umarex USA products. Buyer beware.

Buy it from Replica Airguns
Great impulse buy. Gun is fun to shoot and fills full in under two minutes with my compressor. You can research online and see for yourself about the gun but I do recommend buying from these guys here at Replica Airguns - fantastic service. When I had received my gun it had seemed incredibly difficult to slide the arrows on. Research online had shown that the arrows slide on extremely easy and secure via o-ring. The arrows on mine took two hands to jam it in there. I called Umarex and they were helpful up until I mentioned I was in Canada then they seemed uninterested to help and told me to contact a company in Manitoba to repair the gun on their behalf. They did mention that there was a "bad run" of the guns and some sort of design change.
At this point I decided to contact Replica Airguns and see what they could do. Dealing with them on the return process was quick, clear and very little effort on my part. Leo had very good communication throughout and was a pleasure to deal with. About 3 weeks later I received my replacement gun. The arrows were still a bit stiff but went on easier, not needing two hands to force them on. Tried out the gun this weekend and I was very happy with my purchase of the arrow gun and investment in compressor, target, accessories. After a number of shots fired the arrows seem even more easy to go on than before.
*While unconfirmed I believe the design change at factory was the change from securing the arrow in the gun via popping the arrow shaft over the o-ring, to now just the arrow seating more tightly overall and no more popping-over-the-o-ring to secure it. In short if your new gun takes some force to slide the arrows on at first, you are probably A-OK still, just fire a few shots first and see how it goes.
Excellent service from Replica Airguns, this wasn't my first purchase here and surely will not be my last. Thanks!

unbelievable quality for price!
Aside from shipping taking longer than expected (no fault of Replicaairguns.ca )
The gun build quality, assembly out-of-the-box coupled with the power and accuracy....good luck finding anything better. Far exceeded my expectations.

AIRBOW
it's an excellent piece of weapon, in terms of style, accuracy, power, and quality. I'm very much pleased with the airbow performance.
