Trigger Mechanism: The trigger pull on the Umarex XBG and TDP 45 is fairly heavy, typical for a double-action-only system. There is a noticeable amount of take-up, and the full pull weight is about 8-9 pounds. The trigger releases at the very end of the pull, with a slight click just before it releases. If you're accustomed to budget-friendly double-action triggers where the barrel extends during the pull, these two models will feel familiar, as their trigger mechanisms are quite similar.
Precision: I have not yet conducted field tests or shooting evaluations to determine the precision of these guns. I will update this with a link to my official Field Shooting Test once it's completed. Early feedback from others suggests that these Umarex CO2 BB pistols perform well regarding shots per CO2, accuracy, and FPS.
Construction Quality: The Umarex XBG and TDP 45 share many internal components. While their plastic exteriors differ, most mechanical parts are integrated within these shells, aside from the trigger, safety, and magazine release. The overall build is mostly plastic, with metal used for some internal components, magazines, barrels, and triggers.
Realism Factor: The Umarex XBG and TDP 45 do not replicate any specific real firearm. They resemble modern mid-sized semi-automatic pistols but don't match any particular model exactly. They look realistic but prioritize functional simplicity over mimicking a real firearm's operation. This simplicity likely contributes to their reliability.

Observations
While I have a preference for air pistols with more metal and functional components, not everyone wants to spend over $100 on an airgun or needs hyper-realistic features. Some users prioritize affordability, solid performance, and reliability. A simpler design with fewer moving parts often enhances reliability. Depending on your needs, even if you own high-end airguns, the cost-effective Umarex XBG or TDP 45 models can be excellent choices for regular use, reducing wear and tear on more expensive collectibles.
